Bozhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Expo officially launched on September 8, 2025
In order to promote the trade of traditional Chinese medicine and increase its popularity, the County Committee and Government of Bozhou County organized the first session of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Fair on September 9, 1985. In 2006, with the approval of the State Council, the Ministry of Commerce sent a letter to the People's Government of Anhui Province, agreeing to hold the International (Bozhou) Traditional Chinese Medicine Expo in Anhui Province. Since then, Bozhou City has held the International (Bozhou) Traditional Chinese Medicine Expo and the National (Bozhou) Traditional Chinese Medicine Fair on September 9 every year. Up to now, 19 International (Bozhou) Traditional Chinese Medicine Expos and 40 National (Bozhou) Traditional Chinese Medicine Trade Fairs have been successfully held consecutively. The Bozhou Pharmaceutical Expo has developed into the most influential gold medal exhibition in the traditional Chinese medicine industry in China. It is an important platform for inheriting and promoting the culture of traditional Chinese medicine, attracting investment and talent, and is also a major measure to build the "World Capital of Traditional Chinese Medicine" and create a "bridgehead for traditional Chinese medicine to enter the international market".
